We are delighted to announce that the European Pipe Band Championships for 2023 are coming to Aberdeen for the first time.  This is one of the largest piping events in the world with over 100 pipe bands visiting the city from all over Europe.  It is always an exceedingly popular day with visitor numbers reaching as high as 17,000 in previous years.  Aberdeen is looking forward to welcoming the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association to the city and is preparing to host a very memorable day for everyone.  In addition to the pipe band competition there will be a food drink and craft market, hot food throughout the day and a great selection of free of charge family friendly activities.
